Penhaligon Mares
Lilian has outstanding bloodlines for top level dressage including her sire Welt Hit II. Welt Hit II was Reserve Champion in his Performance Test, gaining a top dressage mark of 140 in the autumn of 1995. The tremendous promise he showed has been borne out in his many achievements since, including being top 4 year old stallion in the German Championships at Warendorf in 1996, taking the Dressage Champion title at the Zwolle International Stallion Show in 1997 and being top 6 year old at Warendorf in 1998. Rose is a fabulous quality Oldenburg mare who competed herself to medium level in Germany , her dressage career cut short due to her owners work commitments. She has wonderful loose paces with an excellent ground covering walk. Her temperament is calm and sensible and we feel she will be a great asset to the stud. Abigail has an enviable pedigree, sired by the influential stallion Atlantus who produced so many top horses inc:- Arianna, It's Smartie, Durfee Avalon, Alizar Kignaes, Byron. Her dam is the gold medal mare Wunsch. Abigail consistently produces quality youngstock with good topline, movement and lovely temperament. Abigail has bred 14 foals now and we have reluctantly decided to retire her, every one of her foals has been stunning and we will be hard pushed to have such a prolific mare as her. She certainly deserves to relax in her retirement and I am sure she will enjoy being Nanny to the upcoming youngsters.
Penhaligon Annuello Sire - Twemloes Ivor Schwarzkopf Dam - Boreatton Swagger (grade 1 HIS) Annie is a mare bred by us by the Sport Horse stallion Twemlows Ivor Schwarzkopf who is by the well known sire Big Ivor, her dam is Grade 1 HIS mare Boreatton Swagger who we sadly lost aged 17yrs, Swagger was a mare full of quality who produced numerous successful offspring in the show ring. Having been a brood mare for several years, Annie will be Joint Masters horse this season with the David Davies Hunt.
Beautiful elegant dark bay filly 16.2hh. Fabulous loose, flowing paces. Excellent technique over fences. Lovely kind, willing and sensible temperament. By CAVALIER ROYALE out of Broadstone Landmark/Graf Magna mare Parsons Lyric, this mare is by the leading Irish sire Cavalier Royale who was multiple Grand Prix winner, also jumping over 7ft in Puissance in Germany.
Wendie is a beautiful bay 16.2hh KWPN mare by Optimist. Sadly Wendie’s extremely promising eventing career was cut short due to injury. She is a quality mare with good paces and superb jump. Wendie is in foal to Landor S for 2010, see Stallions page for details and video

Hello Again was born in 2005, the last foal from State Premium Elite mare Helmea. Helmea's pedigree contains some of the best dressage bloodlines including Admiral 1 and Absatz who was such an important line founder of the Hannovarian breed.
